Treks in the North Cascedes National Park must be booked by May 1st to insure resevations nesessary for camps in the park.
Ross Lake offers wonderful 3 or 4 day adventures that are great for moderate hiking and young families.
Pacific Crest Trail South: Traversing one of the most magnificent valleys in the North Cascades. This trek leads to a huge cirque at the headwaters of the North Fork of Bridge Creek where breezes ripple meadow grasses beneath the ice-hung precipices of 9160 ft. Goode Mountain, 8515 ft Storm King Peak, and 9087 ft. Mt Loagon. 5 days.
