Spring 2010 Training Treks
May 14-16 and June 4-6
North Cascade National Park

For those of you curious about packing in the backcountry with llamas we are offering two wonderful early bird specials.  We will travel into the North Cascade National Park, crossing over Ross Dam and hiking along Ross Lake to the Big Beaver River.  This is an eight mile hike with moderate elevation changes once we reach the Lake.  We will enjoy a layover day on the lake or hike up into the old growth forests along the River.  On the third day we will return to the trailhead.   May is a particularly good time in this location as the weather tends to be good and there is little park usage this time of the year.
