DELI LLAMA WILDERNESS ADVENTURES
invites you to join us on unique treks into the High Country of the  Cascade or Olympic Mountains. Each of our adventures is custom designed for groups of six to ten guests, offering an intimate experience with nature. On trekking days, we will hike between four and eight miles through forest of tamarack, fir, cedar, and pine up to alpine meadows abundant in wildflowers and wildlife. All of our treks offer at least one layover day for fishing, exploration or just relaxing. Towering peaks, cool mountain streams and alpine lakes offer choices for adventure, community and solitude. Special attention to fresh quality ingredients in nutritional and sometimes exotic cuisine is a trademark of DELI LLAMA.

LLAMAS, once the foundation of the Inca civilization in South America, will accompany and support our adventure. Sure-footed, dignified, capable and friendly, they are right at home in the high country terrain. Our "Silent Brothers" will carry our food, cooking gear, tents and most personal gear, thus relieving us the burden of heavy packs. Llamas have a low impact on the environment, as we will also, and add a special dimension to our adventures.

DELI LLAMA provides tents, cooking gear and all meals, beginning with lunch the first day and ending with lunch on the last day. Guests need only to provide a warm sleeping bag and pad, appropriate clothing, and personal effects. The llamas will carry up to twenty pounds of your personal gear. You must carry anything above that. A daypack is recommended for carrying personal items used along the trail, such as your camera or rain gear.

Our adventures are designed for anyone in reasonably good physical condition. Guests ages 4 through 86 have enjoyed our treks and the opportunity to travel unencumbered with our llama companions.

Smaller parties may be combined if dates and locations fit. Deli Llama also sponsors treks specifically for men, women and couples, as well as Packing with Llama Clinics and Training Treks. Please contact us for dates and locations of these offerings. Potluck food sharing is available at a reduced cost on group custom trips. Early registration is highly recommended to secure dates and locations of choice.

COSTS: Bookings of 8-10 persons in the same party are $155 per person/per day . Groups of 6 or 7 persons in the same party are $175 per person per/day .  Bookings of less than 6 people are $195 per person per day.  Group sizes are the number of people registering in the same party for the same trek. Smaller parties may be combined but does not alter the pricing for the seperate parties. Treks require a minimum cost of 4 people to go.
