Olympic Mountains. Each of our adventures is custom designed for groups of six to ten
guests, offering an intimate experience with nature. On trekking days, we will hike
between four and eight miles through forest of tamarack, fir, cedar, and pine up to alpine
meadows abundant in wildflowers and wildlife. All of our treks offer at least one layover
day for fishing, exploration or just relaxing. Towering peaks, cool mountain streams and
alpine lakes offer choices for adventure, community and solitude. Special attention to
fresh quality ingredients in nutritional and sometimes exotic cuisine is a trademark of DELI
LLAMA.
Our adventures are designed for anyone in reasonably good physical condition. Guests ages 4 through 86 have enjoyed our treks and the opportunity to travel unencumbered with our llama companions.

Personal Equipment Checklist: Our adventures this summer will take us from 1,500 ft. to over 8,000 ft. elevation. While our treks are designed for a moderate pace and the llamas will be packing most of our gear, it is valuable for you to be in good physical condition. It is advisable to begin a moderate program of endurance building and stretching as soon as possible. Your body is the most important equipment youll have on this trip.
Our mountain weather can be unpredictable. You should be prepared for temperatures ranging from 30 to 80 degrees. Rainstorms, light snow or hail is possible. Dress properly; utilizing layers will allow you to pack lightly and still be prepared for weather changes.
The following list will aid you in selecting your personal gear for this trip. Lightweight, efficient equipment will greatly enhance your enjoyment in the wilderness. The llamas will carry up to twenty pounds of your personal gear. You must carry anything above that.
